Team,

I welcome all of you over to my house this Saturday for a team trainer ride.  Bring your stationary trainers or rollers to my house and we will do a team workout together.  We will set up shop in my heated garage, so don’t worry about space and prepare to ride in 80 degree weather.  Should be a good time to see everyone and start the verbal jousting of how “out of shape and slow” we all are…..

Please vote in the poll as to what time you would prefer (i am free all day).  Majority will rule.

Sorry guys I have to work at both of my jobs. I also have my roady all ripped apart and no trainer.  As far as verbal jousting goes, i have been training 20 + hours a week and am about 20 lbs lighter than I was at the end of last summer holding between 4 and 6 percent body fat and quite a bit stronger as well. I am putting my all into this season and can't wait to see you guys.

I work 4am-9am on Sat/Sun this weekend. So the majority so far of 2:00pm would be good for me.

I'd like to be there but not sure the weather will cooperate.  I've been training as well.  I'm working with a new sponsor, Red Stripe.  I've been drinking it 10hrs a week for the last 4 months and have added 15 lbs.  1hr/day M-Th, 2hr/day on F-Su.  Those 12oz curls are really adding up.  Should help on the downhills but I might have to change my kit order to XL.  I guess that will also help on leadouts as I'll be making a bigger hole in the wind for Tommy, Bill and the other sprinters..... Pretty sure my body fat is lower than last year.  After all, there is no fat in beer.  Wink    Enjoy the day on the trainers.  I'll be there in spirit.

Well,

It looks like 2:00pm it is.  Bring whatever training DVD's or cycling videos you have and we can vote on which one(s) we want to do.

Please travel at your own digression if the weather turns nasty.

Waterfall...... I am glad you are able to grasp the bigger picture!!!  I will be there!

Just wondering, does anyone else think the trainer is harder than riding outside.  I swear!!!  I'm busting my @$$ and i'm only going 17mph......  I'm in for it!!!!

I'm all about the big picture.  I even keep the beer on the bottom shelf of the fridge so I do a squat everytime I get another... That's 5-6 squats a day and up to 12 per day on wknds.

I was hoping to be there tomorrow but the weather will probably keep me home.  Have fun.

As for actually riding, I found that if I put my bike on my treadmill, I get twice the workout.  I must be getting in shape as I can set the treadmill on 12mph and my heart rate barely goes over 150.

Can't wait to ride outside!

We had 7 people show up for a TRAINER ride in Dustin's garage!!!! Well, 8 if you count Bill who showed up w/o a bike.... but he was wearing a woman's undershirt so he could show off his rippling muscles.  It was a lot of fun to get together and sweat it out in a heated garage, which ended up being pretty comparable to a sauna.  Looking forward to warm temps!!!

Well guys i really wish i could have been there but icy roads just didn't permit it.  So i did my own workout.  I got 50 minutes of intervals in and then did a 20 minute run right after that.  Hope everything went well and im really looking forward to riding with you guys again.  It gets kinda boring riding alone all the time.
